Why should I be building my team now?

OYC is structured as a unilevel. What that means in English is that you place everyone you personally recruit on your 1st level. You can go as wide as you like. This also means that no one has any motivation to place people under you! You alone are responsible for building your team. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "Yes... you will have to build a team, but it will be the LAST team you will ever build."
So here's the question: "OK... So what's the hurry about building a team since getting in early doesn't really affect my placement in the portfolio companies?"
There are two reasons: 1) Your people can't get their people until you HAVE your people. 2) When you get in can dramatically affect how many people are placed on your team by other people.

More People? If the portfolio company selected is a unilevel, then your team will look exactly like the OYC tree. But, in many cases, that will not be true. Many of the portfolio companies on our short list are in fact "Binary" companies. This means that you can only place two people on your 1st line. In other words, if I personally recruit 15 people, I can only place 2 people on my 1st line. The other 13 people will be placed UNDER the first 2. As you can see, there will be large amounts of overlap or what some people refer to as "spillover."
What determines who is placed under whom? The answer is, "When you sign up with OYC." This is true not only for you, but also for the people you will be placing on your team. If you get in early and build a big team, the amount of spillover could be staggering. Many people will end up with five to ten times the number of people on their team compared to the OYC tree. So the message is, "Don't waste any time!!!"

VERY IMPORTANT:

In a "Binary," you are paid on your short leg or what people sometimes refer to as your "Personal Leg." No one can build on your personal leg other than you. Don't assume that because their will be spillover that you don't need to do anything. If you don't build a team, spillover will mean nothing to you financially. You may have thousands on one side with nothing on your personal side to balance it. Please don't believe the lies you have heard innetwork marketing, specifically: "Someone else will build my team." Only you can control whether or not you will benefit from the large amount of spillover that will occur.

Also... Even MORE IMPORTANT:

Don't miss the webinar this coming Wednesday at 6:00 pm MDT. The Attorney General for the State of Utah will be our guest speaker. You don't want to miss this. Anyone, and I do mean ANYONE, that attends that webinar will want to join OYC. If you don't have 15 to 20 of your closest friends there, you haven't yet grasped the power of our business model. The link to register for the webinar is: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/500455969
